BELONGING ABROAD
Black American students abroad face different challenges than their white cisgender counterparts. Due to these challenges, organizations are looking to find more ways to create more support and resources for black Americans as they go abroad. I created a resource hub about the issue and some information sources that both educators and students can use.
STUDY ABROAD: RE-ENTRY WORKSHOP SERIES
Through my previous study abroad experience, I realized there needs to be programming for students after they return from education abroad experience. Specifically, as it relates to how students negotiate their identities in different spaces. This activity and assessment plan is the first iteration of a recommended program.
